About
Christine Hoff Kraemer is a religious studies scholar specializing in contemporary Paganism, sexuality, literature, and popular culture. In 2006, she was honored to receive a Media, Religion, and Culture Fellowship from the University of Colorado (School of Journalism and Mass Communication), which supported the completion of her doctoral project "The Erotic Fringe: Sexual Minorities and Religion in Contemporary American Literature and Film" at Boston University in 2008. With colleague A. David Lewis, she recently co-edited Graven Images: Religion in Comics Books and Graphic Novels, a collection based on the academic conference they organized at Boston University in 2008. She is also chair of the Theology and Religious History department at Cherry Hill Seminary, where she has recently taught courses on Contemporary Global Paganisms and Pagan Theology. Her current project is a book exploring a Pagan theology of touch.
Christine lives in the Boston, Massachusetts area.
